Public & Regulatory Solicitor

About the role

We are partnering with a leading international law firm in Dublin to hire a Public & Regulatory Solicitor for its disputes and investigations team. This position offers a fast‑track career in public law, regulatory investigations and complex contentious matters, working with public bodies, regulated entities, insurers and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist partners and senior lawyers on regulatory and statutory investigations, judicial review proceedings and public law disputes.
• Handle professional disciplinary, fitness‑to‑practice, white‑collar and corporate investigations.
• Provide risk and compliance advisory to clients in healthcare, financial services and the public sector.
• Draft pleadings, conduct legal research, support advocacy and manage client communications.
• Participate in High Court litigation, dispute resolution and advisory work for regulated professionals and insurers.

Required profile

• Newly qualified solicitor or up to three years post‑qualification experience.
• Background in litigation, disputes or regulatory work gained during training or post‑qualification.
• Interest in public and regulatory law, with exposure to investigations, judicial review or advisory work preferred.
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities within a collaborative team.
