Qualified Bricklayers/Masons – Ireland

About the role

A reputable construction company operating in Ireland is looking for experienced Bricklayers/Masons to join its team. The role involves delivering high‑quality brick and block work on residential, commercial and civil projects while adhering to Irish building standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lay bricks, blocks and other masonry units to construct walls, foundations, arches and partitions according to drawings.
• Mix mortar and grout to the correct consistency and apply it accurately.
• Cut and shape bricks or blocks using hand and power tools as required.
• Ensure all work is level, plumb and aligned to high workmanship standards.
• Interpret building plans, drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with other trades on site and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of proven bricklaying experience on construction sites.
• Recognised trade qualification or apprenticeship (e.g., QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate, City & Guilds, South African Occupational Certificate, or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Physical fitness and willingness to work at heights and in varied weather.
• Valid passport, South‑African driver’s licence and clean criminal record.
• Willingness to relocate to Ireland.
