Quality Control Auditor – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Auditor to ensure our construction projects in Dublin meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The role combines office‑based coordination with regular site visits across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality systems aligned with business needs.
• Perform internal audits and site‑based QA/QC inspections.
• Compile audit reports using the company’s construction software.
• Document and implement quality procedures across all sites and departments.
• Investigate non‑conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Mentor staff and deliver training on quality processes.
• Create and update quality inspection check‑lists.
• Maintain reports on the software platform and support customer complaints.
• Assist with BC(a)R, project handovers, and any tasks assigned by the QA/QC Manager.
• Promote a culture of quality throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Trades background or a 3rd‑level Construction Management qualification.
• 3‑5+ years of experience in a similar quality auditing role.
• Strong knowledge of construction best practices, building regulations and certification standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience on large‑scale construction projects.
• Detail‑oriented, methodical and self‑motivated.
