Registered Staff Nurse – Residential Care

About the role

Carechoice is seeking a Registered Staff Nurse to join its dedicated nursing team at the Beaumont Residential Centre in Cork. You will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality, compassionate care to older residents, ensuring their wellbeing, comfort and happiness in a home‑like environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective clinical care to residents in accordance with professional standards.
• Support residents’ daily living activities and promote their independence.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members.
• Participate in care planning, health assessments and the implementation of care plans.
• Uphold the centre’s ethos of respect, dignity and person‑centred care.

Required profile

• Registration with An Bord Altranais (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland).
• Excellent clinical, leadership and organisational abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• At least one year of nursing experience (preferred).
