About the role

The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking a Registrar to join the Endocrinology team in Limerick, with a start date in July. This is a full‑time, fixed‑term position open to both HSE and non‑HSE applicants.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient endocrine care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and teaching sessions.
  • Manage on‑call duties and acute endocrine emergencies.
  • Contribute to clinical audits, research projects, and service development.

Required profile

  • Medical degree and full registration with the Irish Medical Council.
  • Completion of core medical training and eligibility for registrar level posts.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland and meet HSE recruitment criteria.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills in endocrinology.
