Remote Software Engineer – AI Trainer

About the role

Join DataAnnotation’s coding team as a Remote Software Engineer – AI Trainer. You will work on a flexible, fully remote basis, creating and solving coding challenges that help train state‑of‑the‑art AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve diverse coding problems, with a focus on Android development, to train AI systems.
• Write clear, high‑quality code snippets and detailed explanations for AI training data.
• Evaluate AI‑generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
• Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI models.
• Build functional apps and visualise data insights as part of the training pipeline.

Required profile

• Fluent English (native or bilingual level).
• Preferred experience with Kotlin and Android development.
• Proficiency in at least one language or framework such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) and prior experience as a software developer or programmer.
• Residency in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
