Reservations Manager

About the role

The K Club is seeking a proactive Reservations Manager to lead its Reservations Team. You will be responsible for coordinating all hotel bookings, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and maximizing revenue across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound reservation requests via phone and email, maintaining a 48‑hour response window.
• Manage the Reservations mailbox, prioritize messages, and forward or flag as required.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date events and demand calendar in IDeaS and Opera.
• Assist in developing pricing strategies based on seasonal occupancy and market trends.
• Review weekly rate‑shopping reports to keep the hotel competitively positioned.
• Produce daily pick‑up, weekly booking momentum/pace, and monthly channel performance reports.
• Oversee and optimise PMS, IDeaS, Netaffinity, SiteMinder, and SynXis configurations.
• Participate in revenue meetings and generate accurate reports in the Director of Revenue’s absence.
• Build relationships with new and existing clients, collaborating with the Key Account Manager to grow online channel business.
• Mentor and develop Reservations Agents for future advancement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IDeaS revenue management system.
• Experience using Opera property management system.
• Familiarity with PMS platforms.
• Knowledge of Netaffinity, SiteMinder, and SynXis distribution tools.
