Restaurant Manager

About the role

The InterContinental Dublin is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the iconic Lobby Lounge, Whiskey Bar, Reading Room and all‑day dining operations, including the celebrated Afternoon Tea service. This senior role reports to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and will shape the guest experience across multiple venues in a 5‑star luxury setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Lobby Lounge, Whiskey Bar and Reading Room, ensuring service standards for afternoon tea, private dining and cocktail service are consistently met.
• Manage a team of 2 Assistant Managers, 2 Supervisors and several Team Leaders, providing coaching, performance reviews and clear communication.
• Control scheduling, payroll, inventory and quality assurance processes to maintain operational excellence.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development, seasonal specials, whiskey pairings and Afternoon Tea concepts.
• Partner with the hotel marketing team to create promotions and guest experiences that highlight each venue’s unique identity.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Prepare regular reports for the Assistant F&B Director and the Director of Food & Beverage.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in luxury hospitality or fine‑dining environments.
• Strong understanding of brand standards, guest experience and operational precision.
• Ability to manage a multi‑venue operation with a clear reporting structure.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to developing team members.
