Restaurant Supervisor (Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Restaurant Supervisor to join the Anner Hotel team in Thurles. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations and ensure service standards are met.
• Confirm guest bookings and manage table allocations.
• Provide direction and coaching to restaurant staff to achieve high guest satisfaction.
• Identify upselling opportunities and drive additional revenue.
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a restaurant team.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Ability to coach staff to deliver excellent service.
• Good people‑management skills and a hospitality or food qualification.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in the hospitality sector.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant software.
• Working knowledge of time‑keeping systems.
• Understanding of food safety standards.
