About the role
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at the Drive Service Station in Ballinaboola, Wexford. The primary focus of the role is to ensure every customer leaves the store satisfied, feeling valued and well‑served.
Key responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering queries and offering product knowledge.
- Maintain store presentation standards by merchandising shelves and keeping all areas tidy.
- Handle customer complaints or questions efficiently, following store policy.
- Promote new initiatives and adapt to evolving ways of working.
- Uphold Centra brand values – Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, Community‑Based.
Required profile
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help customers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organised and pay close attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated, capable of working both independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
- Customer‑driven attitude with previous retail or service experience considered an advantage.
