Senior Corporate Counsel – Commercial Legal (Dublin)

About the role

Okta is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its Commercial Legal team in Dublin. You will provide primary legal advice and support to the sales and professional services organisations across the UK, Ireland and Benelux, focusing on large, strategic SaaS deals.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and advise on outbound SaaS master subscription agreements, amendments, NDAs, SOWs and other commercial documents for high‑value accounts, including regulated industries such as banking, finance and healthcare.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal support to sales teams and respond promptly to internal legal requests.
• Partner with revenue recognition, deal desk, sales operations, privacy, security and other stakeholder teams to ensure agreements align with Okta policies and processes.
• Build strong relationships with sales, legal colleagues and key stakeholders to deliver practical legal and strategic advice.
• Identify and advise on legal risks, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support continuous improvement of standard legal templates, playbooks, policies and commercial transaction processes.
• Contribute to go‑to‑market initiatives and other legal projects as required.

Required profile

• 7+ years of transactional legal experience, preferably in SaaS or technology‑focused environments.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements with large, strategic customers.
• Experience working with regulated sectors such as banking, finance or healthcare.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide pragmatic legal advice.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
