Senior EHS Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior EHS Advisor to lead the health, safety and environmental function for an international engineering and process equipment manufacturer based in Limerick/North Cork. Reporting to the COO, you will shape and continuously improve the company’s safety strategy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive Health & Safety programmes.
• Lead the Health & Safety function across the organisation and promote a strong safety culture.
• Conduct risk assessments, accident investigations and incident management.
• Plan and deliver Health & Safety training programmes and manage training needs analysis.
• Define and monitor Health & Safety KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Represent the company with external bodies such as the HSA and lead ISO 45001 certification.
• Organise and lead internal and external safety audits and inspections.
• Support safety representatives, committees and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Third‑level qualification in Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Membership of IOSH or a comparable professional body (desirable).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing Health & Safety in construction or workshop environments.
• Proven experience with ISO 45001 implementation and continuous improvement.
