Senior Engineer – Hotel Extension Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a major hotel extension project valued at over €25 million. The role involves traditional blockwork construction and precast slab installation, working within an established site management team on the Johnstownbridge site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee quality assurance procedures on site.
• Maintain and coordinate all project documentation.
• Ensure works are completed in line with specifications and programme requirements.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and site personnel.
• Monitor construction activities and enforce health and safety standards.
• Support project delivery through effective coordination and communication.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a Senior Engineer role on building projects.
• Strong quality control and documentation management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a site management team.
