Senior Freelance Web Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a senior freelance web developer to join our fast‑paced, autonomous environment in Ireland. You will build and maintain scalable digital products, contributing to both internal platforms and client‑facing initiatives. The role blends hands‑on engineering, architectural design, and operational ownership across modern frameworks and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance web applications and services across front‑end and back‑end.
• Contribute to system architecture, including API design, data models, authentication, and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement complex features and intuitive user interfaces from concept to deployment.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and internal systems to enhance functionality.
• Optimize applications for accessibility, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and overall user experience.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and secure hosting environments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues independently and produce clear documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience delivering production‑ready web applications.
• Expert‑level proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong hands‑on experience with TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Solid backend development expertise with REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication, and database interactions.
• Proven experience with Git/GitHub workflows and collaborative development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deployment automation.
