Senior Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our growing technical team. The role is client‑facing and combines pre‑sales, solution design, project delivery and hands‑on implementation for education and corporate customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise during pre‑sales meetings, site surveys and infrastructure audits.
• Design and scope network and server solutions, producing High‑Level Designs (HLDs), Low‑Level Designs (LLDs) and Statements of Work (SoWs).
• Lead the implementation of networking, server, firewall and Wi‑Fi projects.
• Manage projects from design through deployment, documentation and handover.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior network engineering role.
• Cisco CCNP (Routing & Switching) or equivalent certification.
• MCSE or equivalent Microsoft certification.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification (or equivalent).
• Full Irish driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Excellent client‑facing communication and commercial awareness.
