Senior Physiotherapist - Pain Medicine

About the role

The Senior Physiotherapist – Pain Medicine provides high‑quality physiotherapy services to patients experiencing pain, both in‑person and through virtual clinics. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the role focuses on assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of evidence‑based interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients with pain‑related conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver physiotherapy interventions on‑site and via virtual clinic platforms.
• Maintain accurate patient records using iPims, ICM, NIMIS/PACs and related IT systems.
• Utilise X‑Ray viewer and other imaging tools to inform treatment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with CORU CPD requirements and professional standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Current CORU registration with renewal date.
• B.Sc or equivalent physiotherapy qualification from University of Dublin, National University of Ireland, or an equivalent institution.
• Membership or eligibility for the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.
• Minimum three years of satisfactory post‑qualification experience.
• Evidence of CPD meeting CORU requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with iPims, ICM, NIMIS/PACs.
• Experience using X‑Ray viewer.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
• Virtual clinic platforms.
• T‑Pro and PhysioTools software.
