Senior Project Architect

About the role

The firm is an established architectural studio with over 30 years of experience across Ireland and Europe. As a Senior Project Architect you will lead the design, delivery and contract administration of complex projects in the life‑sciences, data‑centre and commercial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all RIAI Work Stages and ensure compliance with Building Regulations, contractual obligations and planning requirements.
• Act as Contract Administrator for public works contracts, liaising with clients, consultants, stakeholders and contractors.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, coordinate documentation and oversee successful handover and project completion.
• Conduct site inspections and manage contractual processes through construction.
• Support senior management in strategic decisions and business direction.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Project Architect, including contract administration and public works projects.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, GCCC forms of contract and public procurement procedures.
• Proven track record of delivering projects through construction and securing local authority approvals.
• Strong communication, leadership and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
