Senior Project Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead the design, delivery and contract administration of high‑profile projects in the life‑sciences, data‑centre and commercial sectors. You will oversee all RIAI work stages, ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations and manage public‑works contracts from inception to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and delivery of complex projects.
• Manage all RIAI work stages and ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Act as Contract Administrator for public‑works contracts, liaising with clients, consultants, stakeholders and contractors.
• Mentor and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Prepare and control critical project documentation and drive successful handover.
• Conduct site inspections and manage contractual processes throughout construction.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Project Architect.
• Strong background in contract administration and public‑works projects.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, GCCC contracts and public procurement procedures.
• Proven track record delivering projects through construction and securing local‑authority approvals.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
