Senior Project Manager

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Infrastructure Project Management team. You will lead large‑scale programmes across sectors such as energy, aviation, transportation, water and utilities, delivering projects that shape communities and support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project schedules and oversee delivery across multidisciplinary, high‑performing teams.
• Coordinate cross‑functional inputs to ensure accurate reporting and timely delivery.
• Champion best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support the development of high‑performance behaviours, effective collaboration and strong team processes.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders through proactive engagement and clear communication.
• Manage complex technical and commercial issues, providing leadership and guidance.
• Act as an escalation point for project challenges, ensuring efficient resolution.
• Support business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and client service.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar project delivery role within a regulated environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables across infrastructure markets (energy, aviation, transportation, water, utilities).
• Experience working in primary infrastructure sectors and delivering complex programmes.
