Site Civil Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Site Civil Engineer to join a fast‑growing civil engineering contractor that specialises in renewable and sustainable infrastructure across Ireland. You will work within a tight‑knit delivery team, handling a varied portfolio of small to medium‑scale civil works projects from setting‑out to final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day delivery of 7–8 concurrent civil works projects across Tipperary and surrounding counties.
• Carry out setting‑out, site supervision and engineering checks to ensure works meet design, specification and programme requirements.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, aligning resources with project priorities and deadlines.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and design teams to resolve technical queries and keep projects moving.
• Maintain accurate site records, health & safety documentation and quality assurance reports.
• Monitor progress, budgets and quality, preparing regular status updates for senior management.

Required profile

• Qualified civil engineer with experience delivering small to medium‑scale civil works projects.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
