Site Engineer – Dublin 9

About the role

The Site Engineer will join Walls Construction’s Construction Management Team to ensure the effective on‑site delivery of building projects in Dublin 9. You will be responsible for setting out, quality control and coordination of site activities while maintaining compliance with specifications, standards and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out setting out, levelling and quality control, including concrete cube sampling and slump testing.
• Inspect shuttering, reinforcement and dimensional accuracy before concrete pours and keep accurate material reconciliation records.
• Maintain comprehensive site records such as diaries, quality documentation and upload relevant data to the Document Management System (DMS).
• Supervise directly employed staff and subcontractors throughout the construction process.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental, quality and operational policies at all times.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience with a building contractor.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and solutions‑focused with strong teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• IT skills.
• Working knowledge of surveying instruments.
• Familiarity with site equipment.
• Concrete testing (cube sampling).
• Concrete testing (slump testing).
• Document Management System (DMS) usage.
