Site Manager – 5‑Star Hotel Project in Co. Clare

About the role

Duggan Brothers (Contractors) Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the construction of a landmark 5‑star hotel in County Clare, Ireland. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to work on a heritage‑sensitive project that blends modern standards with historic preservation.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all on‑site construction activities and manage daily operations.
• Maintain a detailed site diary, recording manpower levels and daily progress.
• Support the Project Manager to deliver the project on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Motivate and lead site teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality management systems.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements without compromising safety or quality.
• Plan and coordinate future works to avoid delays and adhere to the agreed programme.
• Oversee financial administration of construction work to maximise cost‑effectiveness.
• Requisition and manage materials required for the build.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in site management or construction project management.
• Immediate availability for a full‑time permanent role.
• Ability to report directly to the Contracts Director and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality management systems in construction.
