Site Manager

About the role

Axis Construction is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day‑to‑day activities on its residential projects in Kildare. This full‑time, on‑site position will coordinate trades, ensure safety and quality, and keep the project on schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and on‑site trades.
• Maintain site safety standards and enforce health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Monitor progress against programme and budget, preparing daily and weekly reports.
• Liaise with project managers, design teams, clients and suppliers to secure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including records, drawings and compliance paperwork.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction site management or supervision, preferably on residential projects.
• Strong understanding of Irish construction regulations and health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and contracts.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Competence with basic construction IT tools and software.
• Familiarity with project management or site‑reporting systems.
