Site Manager – Precast Installation

About the role
The Site Manager will lead all on‑site precast installation activities in Dublin, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. You will manage installation crews, coordinate with the main contractor, and uphold high standards of safety and workmanship.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and supervise all precast installation works on site.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company safety procedures.
- Review and implement Method Statements (MS) and Risk Assessments (RAMS).
- Conduct daily site briefings and toolbox talks.
- Manage installation crews, crane operations and material deliveries.
- Liaise with the Main Contractor to coordinate sequencing, crane access, pods, windows and screeds.
- Oversee QA/QC checks and obtain sign‑off before grouting or pours.
- Maintain accurate site records, daily reports and installation logs.
- Monitor progress against the programme and flag potential delays early.
- Provide feedback to design, production and logistics teams for continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in site management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews and coordinate heavy crane operations.
- Strong understanding of precast elements, sequencing and tolerance control.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling and relevant H&S qualifications (e.g., CIF Site Supervisor).
Required skills
- Proficiency with Autodesk.
- Experience using FieldView or similar digital site management systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Safe Pass certification.
- Manual Handling certification.
- CIF Site Supervisor qualification.
