Spa Receptionist – Luxury Hotel & Spa

About the role

The Heritage, a luxury hotel and award‑winning spa in the unspoilt Laois countryside, is seeking a friendly and professional Spa Receptionist to join its dedicated spa team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from check‑in to checkout.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and check‑in spa guests efficiently, using the registration system.
• Provide accurate information about spa facilities, treatments and home‑care products.
• Answer guest queries and guide potential members through the spa’s offerings.
• Maintain the spa’s ambiance by controlling lighting, music and temperature.
• Handle cash and process payments in line with hotel procedures.
• Upsell treatments and retail home‑care items.
• Ensure the reception area and assigned zones are clean and well‑maintained.
• Open and close the spa according to the standard checklist.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of customer‑service experience, preferably in a busy, luxury spa or hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability for mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
