Staff Nurse – Compassionate Care for Older Adults

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our vibrant care team, delivering high‑quality, person‑centred nursing to older residents. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the physical, emotional and spiritual well‑being of each individual.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence‑based nursing care to residents.
• Foster a respectful environment that promotes independence and dignity.
• Offer clinical supervision and leadership to care staff.
• Assist with inspections and audits to maintain regulatory standards.
• Act as Nurse in Charge when required, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Third‑level degree in Nursing.
• Registered with An Bord Altranais and holding an active PIN.
• Valid certifications (or willingness to train) in infection control, manual handling, CPR, medication management, safeguarding and dementia care.
• Passion for delivering outstanding care to older adults.
• Previous nursing home experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts.
