About the role

The Health Service Executive (HSE) in Dublin and the Midlands is recruiting Staff Nurses – General to join a regional panel that will fill current and future vacancies across several hospitals. The role involves delivering high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care in acute hospital settings.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
• Provide holistic, person‑centred care that promotes independence and enhances quality of life.
• Deliver nursing interventions in acute care environments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical and administrative records.

Required profile

• Registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses (NMBI) and maintain annual registration.
• At least one year of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Good character and the health to perform duties efficiently.
• Ability to meet the clinical and administrative demands of the role.
