Staff Nurse – Residential Care

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to join our residential care team at Moorehall Lodge in Ardee. You will deliver person‑centred nursing care to our residents, supporting their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans in line with HIQA standards and evidence‑based practice.
• Provide holistic, person‑centred care that promotes autonomy and dignity.
• Maintain accurate written records and reports on resident care.
• Collaborate closely with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Advocate for residents, offering information and support for decision‑making and community participation.

Required profile

• Qualified nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• Leadership and administrative abilities to fulfil nursing duties.
• Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Desirable: minimum three years’ experience in a nursing home setting.
