Staff Nurse – Residential Care

About the role

Carechoice is seeking a compassionate Registered Staff Nurse to join the nursing team at Beaumont Residential Centre in Cork. You will provide high‑quality, person‑centred care to older residents, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and comfort in a supportive home‑like environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care, medication administration and health assessments to residents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement individual care plans.
• Monitor and document residents’ health status, responding promptly to changes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff and care assistants.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment in accordance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (An Bord Altranais).
• Excellent clinical, leadership and organisational abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a residential care setting.

Required skills

• Registered nursing qualification recognised in Ireland.
