Staff Nurse (RNID) – Residential Respite, Nenagh

About the role

Enable Ireland is seeking a motivated Staff Nurse (RNID) to join the Teach Saoirse Children’s Residential House in Nenagh. The role provides residential respite care for families of children and young adults with disabilities, working closely with the Residential Respite Manager/Service Coordinator.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care and health assessments to residents in a residential setting.
• Administer medication, monitor health status, and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Support families by coordinating respite plans and providing health‑related advice.
• Drive service transport as needed, ensuring safe travel for residents.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet service demands.

Required profile

• RNID nursing qualification recognised in the Republic of Ireland.
• Current registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) register.
• Experience in a person‑centred health or social‑care environment.
• Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to use service transport.
• Basic IT proficiency.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
