Structures Foreman – Dublin Airport

About the role

The Structures Foreman will lead day‑to‑day supervision of structural construction activities on a major project at Dublin Airport. Reporting to the Site Agent – Structures, you will ensure that works are delivered safely, to quality standards, and within programme and airport operational constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise operatives and subcontractors on reinforced concrete, formwork, steel fixing, concrete pours and related structural works.
• Plan and organise daily activities, allocating labour, plant and materials to meet productivity targets.
• Coordinate works with other disciplines, ensuring seamless integration across workstreams.
• Promote health, safety, environmental and quality performance; deliver toolbox talks, briefings and site inspections.
• Maintain compliance with RAMS, permits, airport safety requirements and housekeeping standards.
• Carry out first‑line quality checks, support inspections and ensure works meet drawings and specifications.
• Monitor progress, identify constraints, escalate issues and keep accurate daily records.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, plant operators and the wider project team; attend coordination meetings and support permit and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Significant experience as a Structures Foreman, General Foreman or Senior Chargehand.
• Proven background in reinforced concrete and structural construction.
• Experience supervising direct labour and subcontractors.
• Valid Safe Pass certification and ability to obtain Dublin Airport Security Clearance.
• CSCS Supervisor, Safety Supervisor or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of structural construction methods, sequencing and ability to interpret drawings.
