Supervising Pharmacist – Grove Island

About the role

We are looking for a Supervising Pharmacist to lead our Grove Island dispensary for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will ensure the pharmacy operates to the highest professional and legal standards while delivering a safe, friendly service to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with PSI guidelines and Irish pharmacy law.
• Oversee daily dispensing operations, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Provide vaccinations, health screenings and patient counselling.
• Collaborate with GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals for integrated care.
• Manage monthly claims submissions to relevant payment boards.
• Uphold ethical standards and professional integrity in all activities.

Required profile

• At least three years of experience as a qualified pharmacist.
• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland and holding a PSI‑approved qualification.
• Strong commitment to patient‑centred care and quality service.
