Supervisor – Overhead Lines & Power Infrastructure

About the role

Circet Ireland's Power Division is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead a team delivering overhead line, civil and cabling projects on new‑build and maintenance contracts. Reporting to the Project Supervisor, you will ensure programmes meet KPIs, HSEQ standards and company processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a crew of overhead line staff to achieve weekly programme targets.
• Coordinate work packages, produce weekly resource capacity plans and submit timesheets.
• Maintain the Management Information System, provide status reports and forecast programme delivery.
• Schedule field resources efficiently while controlling costs and ensuring HSEQ compliance.
• Monitor daily whereabouts, vehicle/plant usage and material wastage; raise purchase orders as needed.
• Liaise with client inspectors, planners and internal stakeholders to guarantee quality and timely completion.
• Identify, manage and report risks, dependencies and critical path issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising overhead line, civil and cabling activities on power infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and wood‑pole condition assessments.
• Familiarity with safety legislation and HSEQ requirements.
• Previous resource‑management and work‑scheduling experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with clients and internal parties.
