Test Engineer (Cork, Ireland)

About the role

As a Test Engineer based in Hollyhill, Cork, you will design, implement and support test processes for our products, bridging hardware, software and manufacturing engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement test processes, including automated product testing.
• Drive continuous improvement of yield, UPH, order cycle time, cost, scrap, DPPM and CPK.
• Provide direction and support to technicians and production teams.
• Analyse test results and key performance indicators.
• Create and release documentation.
• Participate in new global projects and work closely with design, HW, SW and operations teams worldwide.

Required profile

• B.Eng (Hons) or M.Eng in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong hardware failure analysis capability.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with hardware and software technologies.
• Experience with scripting languages such as UNIX shell, Perl or Python.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and statistical data analysis.
• Knowledge of telecoms/networking is a plus.
• Project management experience.
