1st Year Apprentice Mechanic/Technician (Swords, Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking motivated 1st‑year apprentice mechanics/technicians to join our modern showroom in Swords, Dublin North. The role offers a structured four‑year apprenticeship that combines on‑the‑job training with classroom learning, leading to a nationally recognised Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing of motor vehicles under supervision.
• Detect, diagnose and report additional faults for further work.
• Ensure all tasks are performed safely and in line with manufacturers’ and industry guidelines.
• Participate in both on‑the‑job and off‑the‑job training phases.

Required profile

• Full, clean Irish or EU driving licence and eligibility to work full‑time in the EU.
• Minimum grades in English, Mathematics and a science‑based subject.
• Strong interest in motor vehicles and a methodical, analytical approach.
• Commitment to complete the full apprenticeship and pursue a career as a motor technician.
