About the role
Maynooth University is seeking an Administrative Officer I to lead the administrative services of the Maynooth University Access Programme (MAP). Reporting to the Head of Access Operations, the postholder will manage day‑to‑day operations and ensure the effective delivery of student financial supports.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Student Financial Support and Operations team.
- Oversee systems, processes and procedures that underpin MAP services.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of student financial supports.
- Develop and improve administrative systems in line with university standards.
- Support operational efficiency and contribute to strategic objectives.
Required profile
- Relevant university degree or equivalent qualification.
- Significant experience in higher‑education administration, preferably with student finance.
- Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of public‑sector pay provisions.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
