Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to lead new‑business acquisition across the Leinster area for a leading workwear and PPE solutions provider. In this customer‑facing, field‑based role you will identify, engage and win B2B clients, delivering tailored rental agreements that meet their safety and operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, research and approach potential B2B customers in target industries throughout Leinster.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship management.
• Deliver compelling presentations and customise solutions to address client requirements.
• Negotiate and close high‑value rental agreements using a consultative, solution‑based approach.
• Record all activities, prospects and reports in Salesforce CRM.
• Monitor competitor activity and adapt sales tactics to stay ahead.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and the wider sales team to achieve growth targets.

Required profile

• Demonstrated success in B2B field sales, preferably within industrial services, workwear or related sectors.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable with a consultative sales methodology.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse market trends and develop entry strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing abilities.
• Full clean driving licence.
