About the role
AECOM is seeking a Contracts Coordinator to support its Dublin projects. The role blends on‑site presence three days a week with two days of remote work, ensuring contract administration aligns with project goals and client expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with contract management standards and contractual terms.
- Implement agreed contract management strategies and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for contractors and consultants.
- Set KPI targets within NEC incentive schedules and evaluate contractor performance against them.
- Prepare advice for Project or Service Managers on contract issues, compensation events, early warnings, and payment applications.
- Draft communications and instructions on behalf of managers and respond to contractors/consultants within contractual timeframes.
- Liaise with Cost Managers, Schedulers, and Project Managers to confirm quotations, cost estimates, and programme acceptances.
- Administer the early warning process and maintain the early warning register.
- Obtain necessary approvals before issuing communications, working within delegated authority limits.
Required profile
- Proven experience in contract administration, preferably within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with NEC contract forms and incentive schedules.
- Strong analytical skills to assess performance data and develop improvement plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and external contractors.
