Customer Assistant – Permanent 25-30 hrs (Drumcondra)

About the role

Join Tesco’s Drumcondra store as a Customer Assistant, working 25‑30 hours per week on a permanent basis. You’ll be part of a team that offers the widest range of products in the market, from groceries to clothing and financial services, while delivering the "Every Little Helps" experience to every shopper.

Key responsibilities

• Put customers first in every interaction and provide friendly, proactive service.
• Maintain product availability on the shop floor and ensure items are handled with care.
• Keep the store and back‑of‑house areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Follow department routines, company policies and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Support colleagues by assisting in other departments when needed.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, natural customer‑service attitude with a smile.
• Hard‑working, reliable and punctual.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to benefit customers and the team.
• Adaptable and resilient in a fast‑changing retail environment.
• Willingness to follow both verbal and written instructions.
