DevOps Automation Platform Engineer

About the role

TNS Automation Development is seeking a passionate Platform Engineer to lead the evolution of its DevOps automation and AI initiatives. You will own the GitLab foundation, design CI/CD pipelines, and ensure the stability of automation and orchestration tools across a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce standards for repository creation, pipelines, and deployments in GitLab.
• Design, build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines, including unit, integration, and security testing.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor application releases and updates.
• Maintain health and stability of automation applications, plugins, pipelines, and functions.
• Document environment and infrastructure requirements for cloud, virtualised, and physical deployments.
• Establish patterns and policies for safe AI‑assisted automation deployment.
• Collaborate with Security, Risk, Global Systems, NOC, and business stakeholders for requirements gathering and deployment coordination.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in DevOps and network automation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global, cross‑functional teams.
• Passion for building and maintaining automation platforms.
• Experience in international environments and a broad technical skill set.
