Employee Relations Specialist – EMEA

About the role

Zoom is undergoing a cultural and operational transformation across EMEA and needs an Employee Relations Specialist to manage complex ER casework. The role supports managers with performance management, investigations, and organizational change while ensuring compliance with multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage high‑risk employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across multiple EMEA countries.
• Partner with managers and People Experience Business Partners on performance‑management and under‑performance issues.
• Conduct objective investigations and document findings with procedural rigor.
• Develop and roll out HR policies that reinforce a performance‑driven culture.
• Monitor ER metrics, analyze data, and provide risk‑mitigation insights.
• Coach leaders on constructive feedback and consistent application of performance standards.
• Support organizational change initiatives with sensitivity and compliance focus.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of EMEA employment laws and regulations.
• Exceptional communication skills for sensitive manager and employee interactions.
• Ability to conduct thorough, objective workplace investigations.
• Experience interpreting and implementing HR policies consistently.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate ER data and identify trends.
• Capacity to manage multiple complex cases while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with legal teams on high‑risk matters.
