Founding Engineer (Senior Full-Stack)

About the role

We are looking for a founding engineer to join Finvisor’s first product team. Working directly with the founder, you will own the technical architecture and drive the migration of our platform from Replit to a production‑grade AWS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the move of the platform to AWS (ECS or EKS, RDS PostgreSQL, S3, Secrets Manager).
• Harden the system for enterprise procurement and security reviews, targeting SOC 2 Type I readiness, audit logging, SSO, SCIM and encryption at rest.
• Define and implement the deployment pipeline, infrastructure‑as‑code and engineering standards.
• Shape all architectural decisions and mentor the next two‑three engineers.

Required profile

• 7+ years of full‑stack engineering experience.
• Strong background in TypeScript, Node.js and production React applications.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and a modern ORM such as Drizzle or Prisma.
• Extensive AWS experience (ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM) and IaC tools (Terraform or CDK).
• Track record of shipping multi‑tenant B2B SaaS and implementing enterprise security controls (SSO, SCIM, audit logging, encryption at rest).
• Direct involvement in SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audits is a plus.
