IT Support Engineer (Level 1)

About the role

Nostra, a leading Managed Service Provider in Ireland, is looking for a proactive Level 1 IT Support Engineer. You will join a dynamic team that delivers cloud and on‑premise solutions to a variety of clients, ensuring reliable and secure IT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the IT support queue and prioritize tickets.
• Provide on‑site support at client locations as required.
• Take ownership of issues, collaborate with subject‑matter experts, and drive resolutions.
• Document processes and procedures to improve service desk efficiency.
• Support the Microsoft 365 environment, set up and repair servers and laptops.
• Install, configure, and maintain user software and communications equipment.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors and communicate status updates.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in IT support or service environments.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Office 365 administration experience.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and server administration.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills.
• Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and able to thrive under pressure.
• Industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco or CompTIA are a plus.
