About the role
We are seeking an IT Vendor Governance Specialist to manage our technology suppliers within a regulated financial services environment. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain strong data controls, and support effective service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate IT supplier onboarding, due diligence and risk assessments in line with CPC and internal governance requirements.
- Support ongoing vendor governance activities, including assurance reviews, issue tracking and supplier engagement.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs, escalating issues where required.
- Collaborate with IT, Risk, Procurement and Finance to maintain effective data, resilience and operational controls.
- Prepare clear management information and reporting on vendor performance, data risks and compliance for senior stakeholders.
Required profile
- Experience in IT vendor management, third‑party risk, outsourcing governance or operational risk within financial services.
- Working knowledge of regulatory expectations relating to CPC compliance, data controls and supplier risk (e.g., DORA, CP138, CP140).
- Practical experience supporting supplier onboarding and ongoing due diligence or assurance activities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier data, performance metrics and risk information.
- Confident communicator able to work effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.
