Java Software Engineer – API & Microservices (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join our International AI Assistant team in Dublin. You will design and implement third‑party API integrations and build high‑performance micro‑services that power localized AI experiences for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain 3P API integrations across complex distributed systems.
• Build scalable micro‑services with a focus on performance optimisation and reliability.
• Collaborate with partner teams to launch new customer experiences internationally.
• Contribute to real‑time, high‑throughput systems supporting task‑completion journeys.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong background in API development, micro‑services architecture and cloud platforms.
• Ability to work independently and across multiple teams while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, detail‑oriented and organised.
