Key Account Manager – FMCG (Wholesale & Retail)

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Key Account Manager to drive growth of our global confectionery brand in the Irish market. You will own customer relationships, work autonomously, and help us double turnover over the next 4‑5 years.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with wholesale partners, including cash‑and‑carry operators and symbol groups such as Stonehouse, MWP and Value Centres.
• Secure distribution of the core range within wholesale supply chains.
• Create quarterly and annual growth plans with key channel partners.
• Agree promotional calendars to drive distribution, retailer participation and secure feature space in monthly PLOFs and promo magazines.
• Manage performance‑based trade investment budgets with wholesale partners.
• Represent the brand at trade shows and industry events, generating new opportunities.
• Visit wholesale depots and cash‑and‑carry locations to support retailer engagement, NPD sampling and display activity.
• Identify white‑space opportunities across retail, foodservice and hospitality channels.

Required profile

• Extensive sales experience in multiple retail FMCG customer management.
• High commercial awareness with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven negotiation, relationship‑building and teamwork abilities.
• Planning, organising and resilient, able to work independently.
• Demonstrated experience working with wholesale groups.
