Maintenance Technician – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running efficiently in a high‑volume food manufacturing environment. You will minimise downtime and support continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on food processing and packaging machinery.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Assist production teams with machine set‑ups, changeovers and day‑to‑day technical problem‑solving.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with strict food safety, hygiene, quality and health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault‑finding abilities.
• Experience in food, pharma or FMCG environments is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with solid communication skills.
