Manufacturing Technician

About the role

ÉireComposites is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join its Inverin, Galway facility. The role supports the renewable energy and marine sectors by producing high‑quality composite components in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment. Training is provided on the job.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture wooden moulds and fixtures.
• Fabricate steel frames.
• Produce composite laminates.
• Assist all departments with material sample analysis.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions to meet customer specifications.
• Complete required documentation and record‑keeping.
• Report quality, process, equipment, or material issues to the Operations Manager.
• Operate lifting equipment and move materials safely.
• Run machinery, tools, and aids as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace adhering to 6S standards.
• Cross‑train within the team and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Trade qualification in carpentry or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, fitting or finishing is desirable.
• Full European/Irish driver’s licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English.
