Night‑Shift Warehouse Operative (6pm‑2:30am)

About the role

Americold is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join its cold‑chain facilities. You will work the night shift loading and unloading trucks, moving pallets, and ensuring product integrity while following strict food‑safety and health‑and‑safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and transfer pallets from loading bays to designated storage areas.
• Receive and dispatch pallets using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to the company HACCP food‑safety plan.
• Conduct quality and processing checks to maintain product integrity.
• Operate manual handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Pack cheese products for distribution.

Required profile

• Previous experience in warehousing or a manufacturing environment (essential).
• MHE/FLT certification (desirable).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility, openness to change, and willingness to accept constructive feedback.
