About the role
We are seeking a qualified Post Primary Mathematics Teacher to join St. Paul’s Community College in Waterford for the 2026/27 academic year. This part‑time (22 hours per week) pro‑rata position involves delivering the mathematics curriculum and supporting student learning in line with the Teaching Council’s Code of Professional Conduct.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons for post‑primary students.
- Provide learning support and guidance to students as needed.
- Ensure teaching practices comply with the Teaching Council’s professional standards.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development and collaborative planning.
Required profile
- Relevant teaching qualification and registration with the Teaching Council.
- Demonstrated ability to teach mathematics at post‑primary level.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student welfare.
